Is this a psychometric assessment? +
No. The Professional Edge is a structured behavioural insight tool, not a clinically validated psychometric instrument. It is designed to inform hiring and development conversations — not to substitute for them. We state this openly because the distinction matters.
Can the results be used as the sole basis for hiring decisions? +
No. The diagnostic produces advisory signals — "Recommend with confidence", "Investigate before deciding" — never deterministic outputs. It should be considered alongside other relevant evidence in any hiring decision.
How is this different from MBTI or other assessments? +
MBTI measures personality preferences via self-report. This diagnostic measures behavioural choice via scenario response — fundamentally different signal. It also openly declares its underlying leadership lens rather than claiming neutrality. You know exactly what it's measuring and why.
What happens to my data? +
Your responses are processed to generate your results. We do not share individual results without consent. Aggregate, anonymised data may be used to improve the diagnostic over time.
Can I retake the diagnostic? +
Yes, though we recommend a gap of at least six months. Behavioural patterns shift slowly, and frequent retakes capture noise rather than signal.
